How migration quotes are calculated, what's included, and available add-ons.
How quotes work
Quotes are AI-generated from your site analysis, then validated against deterministic pricing rules. You always see the same breakdown:
- Base: $299 — includes 50 posts, 1 page builder, 100 images
- + Posts: $100 per additional 50 posts
- + Builders: $150 per additional page builder
- + Images: $50 per additional 100 images
- + AI fallback: $2 per post that needed AI transform fallback
Payment flow
- 50% upfront — pay via Stripe Checkout to unlock the migration
- Migrate — publish/export your content; the Worker processes each post
- Approve — review QA checks and click "Approve Migration"
- 50% final — pay the remaining balance via a second Stripe Checkout session
- Completed — after a 7-day dispute window with no issues, the migration is auto-marked completed
If the AI service is unavailable when generating your quote, a deterministic calculator produces the same pricing structure — you're never blocked by an AI outage.

Re-migration
createOrReplace mutations are idempotent — re-publishing a post updates the existing Sanity document. You get a 30-day free re-migration window after completion to re-run any posts that changed.
Refunds
The upfront 50% is non-refundable after the migration starts (content has already been transformed and written to your Sanity project). The final 50% is only charged after you approve (or after auto-completion passes QA + the 7-day window).
